Free guided tour to discover the Catacombs of Santa Teodora, one of the most symbolic and important sites of Christianity, located north of Rome along the Via Flaminia (Flaminian Way).
According to tradition, the site was named after the Roman noblewoman who had it built and was buried there in the 4th century.
More than 900 burials, dating from the time of Diocletian's persecutions until almost the fall of the Roman Empire, have been discovered in the underground tunnels.
Along the route, a number of inscriptions on clay and a portrait of Christ can be seen.
A truly evocative place, rich in history and spirituality.
